Valerie Pierce

Northwest Area Regional Representative

Valerie Pierce served students in Missouri for 37 years. She began her career in Wheeling, Missouri, as a Family and Consumer Science teacher. In 1999-2000 she served as a STARR teacher in the NW District. Valerie has always been passionate about serving and learning with others in education and received her National Board Certification in 2002. She served as a Family and Consumer Science teacher in Parkhill South and Mid-Buchanan before becoming the A+ Coordinator and Curriculum Director at Mid-Buchanan from 2004-2018. Valerie is currently a project assistant in Curriculum and Instruction at NWMSU. She is the Missouri Learning Forward Board member from region 5. Children are our most precious resource. We must assure they always have access to the best education possible.
