George Couros is a leading educator in the area of innovative leadership, teaching, and learning. He has worked with all levels of school–from K-12 as a teacher and technology facilitator, school and district administrator, and is the author of the book “The Innovator’s Mindset; Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity.” He is a sought after speaker on the topic of innovative student learning and engagement and has worked with schools and organizations around the globe. George is also the creator of Connected Principals.com, an initiative that brings educators and leaders together from around the world to create powerful learning opportunities for students.
Although George is a leader in the area of innovation, his focus is always the development of leadership and people and what is best for learners. His belief that, meaningful change happens when you first connect to people’s hearts, is modeled in his writing and speaking. A parent of two teen-agers, Will Richardson has spent the last dozen years developing an international reputation as a leading thinker and writer about the intersection of social online learning networks and education. He was one of a handful of original education bloggers (willrichardson.com) and his work has appeared in numerous journals, newspapers, and magazines such as Ed Leadership, District Administration, Education Week, The New York Times and English Journal. He is an outspoken advocate for change in schools and classrooms in the context of the diverse new learning opportunities that the Web and other technologies now offer.
Will has authored six books, most recently From Master Teacher to Master Learner (2015, Solution Tree Press) and Freedom to Learn (2016, Solution Tree Press). In total, his books have sold over 150,000 copies worldwide.
A former public school educator of 22 years, Will is a co-founder of Modern Learner Media and co-publisher of ModernLearners.com which is a site dedicated to helping educational leaders and policy makers develop new contexts for new conversations around education. Over the past eight years, he has spoken to hundreds of thousands of educators in over a dozen countries about the merits of online learning networks for personal and professional growth.

Tammy Heflebower, EdD, is a highly sought-after school leader and consultant with vast experience in urban, rural, and suburban districts throughout North America, Europe, and Australia. Dr. Heflebower has served as a classroom teacher, building leader, district leader, regional professional development director, and national and international trainer. She has also been an adjunct professor of curriculum, instruction, and assessment at several universities.

Dr. Heflebower holds a bachelor of arts from Hastings College in Nebraska (where she was honored as an Outstanding Young Alumna and inducted into the athletic hall of fame), a master of arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an educational administrative endorsement and a doctor of education in educational administration and from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Refund Policy
All conference registration cancellation requests must be received in writing (e-mail) by close of business day on Monday, February 13, 2018. Please forward these requests to: tammy@custommeetingplanners.com. No refunds will be issued after this date; however, substitutions are allowed.
